# Apple OS: crafted font can crash apps or corrupt process memory

An out-of-bounds write in Apple's font handling lets a maliciously crafted font crash an app or corrupt process memory. Apple says it is fixed in iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, tvOS 27.2, visionOS 27.2 and watchOS 27.2.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._
