# Apple OS kernel memory disclosure from an uninitialized memory flaw

A memory initialization flaw in Apple's operating systems lets an app read kernel memory it should not see. The description says it is fixed in iOS 26.7.2, iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, tvOS 27.2, visionOS 27.2 and watchOS 27.2.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed OS version under Settings > General > About (iOS, iPadOS, visionOS, watchOS, tvOS) or `sw_vers -productVersion` on macOS.
- Compare it with the fixed versions listed in the sources: `26.7.2` or `27.2` on the relevant platform.

## Fix

- Update iOS and iPadOS to `26.7.2` or `27.2`.
- Update macOS Tahoe to `26.7.2`, macOS Sequoia to `15.8.2`, and macOS Golden Gate to `27.2`.
- Update tvOS, visionOS and watchOS to `27.2`.
