# Chrome: crafted web page can corrupt memory and run code in sandbox

A memory corruption flaw in the OptimizationGuide component of Google Chrome before 156.0.8078.47 lets a remote attacker run code inside the browser sandbox by serving a crafted HTML page. Visiting a malicious page is enough to trigger it.
