# Safari and Apple OS: use-after-free lets crafted web content crash processes

A use-after-free memory bug in Safari and several Apple operating systems can be triggered by maliciously crafted web content. The sources say it causes an unexpected process termination, which is a crash rather than code execution.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Fix

- Update Safari to `27.2` or later, or iOS and iPadOS to `26.7.2` or `27.2`, macOS Golden Gate and visionOS to `27.2`, as listed in the advisory.

## Timeline
