A use-after-free memory bug in Safari and several Apple operating systems can be triggered by maliciously crafted web content. Successful exploitation may lead to arbitrary code execution on the device.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed Safari or OS version against the fixed releases listed in the advisory.
- unknown for other checks; the sources do not say.

## Fix

- Update Safari to `27.2` or later.
- Update iOS and iPadOS to `26.7.2` or `27.2`, macOS to `27.2` (Golden Gate), and visionOS to `27.2`.

## Timeline

## From the sources

A use-after-free issue was addressed with improved memory management. This issue is fixed in Safari 27.2, iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, visionOS 27.2. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution.
