# Duplicator WordPress plugin leaks server file paths to visitors

The Duplicator and Duplicator Pro WordPress plugins before 5.1.0 let unauthenticated users open some bundled PHP files directly. The resulting fatal error shows a stack trace with the server's absolute filesystem paths.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed Duplicator or duplicator-pro plugin version in the WordPress admin under Plugins.
- Look for the plugin's bundled PHP files being reachable directly over HTTP and returning a fatal error or stack trace.

## Fix

- Move the Duplicator and duplicator-pro plugins to `5.1.0` or later.

## Timeline

- 2026-11-04T06:25:18+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-112244

## From the sources

The Duplicator WordPress plugin before 5.1.0, duplicator-pro WordPress plugin before 5.1.0 does not prevent direct access to some of its bundled PHP files, which initialise without their expected context, trigger a fatal error, and return a stack trace that discloses the server's absolute filesystem paths to unauthenticated users.
