# iWebShop-5: login redirect parameter enables open redirect to attacker sites

iWebShop-5 up to version 5.16 passes the callback argument of the login redirect in plugins/_userInfo/_userInfo.php straight into IController::redirect without checking it. An attacker can craft a link that sends a user from the shop's login flow to any external site, which supports phishing.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Look for `plugins/_userInfo/_userInfo.php` in the iWebShop-5 install and check whether it calls `IController::redirect` with the `callback` request value
- Confirm the installed version with the project's version file; versions up to `5.16` are affected

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T21:57:17+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-112034

## From the sources

A weakness has been identified in aircheng-org iWebShop-5 up to 5.16. The impacted element is the function IController::redirect of the file plugins/_userInfo/_userInfo.php of the component Login Redirect. This manipulation of the argument callback causes open redirect. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
