# MatchPoint (TPC Software) API: IDOR via actingasuser header exposes user and banking data; vendor says server fix deployed

Link for people: https://infrastack.ai/live/CVE-2026-111490 (this .md is for agents)

The MatchPoint API trusts the `actingasuser` HTTP header without checking that the requester is allowed to act as that user. By changing sequential identifiers, an attacker can read personal, banking and financial data, private messages and QR codes, and can change passwords, impersonate users and transfer virtual balances.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:MatchPoint affected MatchPoint platform API, versions not stated fixed no fixed version listed

## How to check

No version check applies: the fix is server-side. If you operate a MatchPoint instance or integrate its API, confirm with TPC Software that the fix is applied to your deployment and review API logs for requests where the actingasuser header differs from the authenticated user. Also check whether you run the MatchPoint Android app and update to the latest version for the other six CVEs in the same advisory.

## Fix

Server-side fix already deployed by TPC Software and applied regardless of app version (per INCIBE-CERT relaying the manufacturer). No client or version action stated for this CVE; no fixed version number published.

## Timeline

- 2026-11-05T22:48:08+00:00 analyst https://www.incibe.es/en/incibe-cert/notices/aviso/multiple-vulnerabilities-tpc-softwares-matchpoint — Primary: INCIBE-CERT advisory INCIBE-2026-841 (coordinator, relaying manufacturer; not vendor's own page, so nothing marked verified). Server fix deployed per manufacturer, no version number. Not exploited per INCIBE; no PoC found. Sibling CVEs 111489-111495 same advisory.

## Documents

- [advisory] INCIBE-2026-841: Multiple Vulnerabilities in TPC Software's MatchPoint https://www.incibe.es/en/incibe-cert/notices/aviso/multiple-vulnerabilities-tpc-softwares-matchpoint

## From the sources

Insecure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerability in the MatchPoint API, which relies on the `actingasuser` HTTP header without verifying the requester's authorization for the specified user. Manipulation of sequential identifiers allows access to personal, banking, and financial data, private messages, and QR codes for physical access, as well as the ability to modify third-party accounts, change passwords, impersonate users, and transfer virtual balances.
