# WP Photo Album Plus: forged request deletes photo comments via logged-in moderator

WP Photo Album Plus is a WordPress plugin whose comment-management request does not check the request origin or a security token. An attacker can trick a logged-in moderator into loading a crafted page, which deletes photo comments.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed plugin version in the WordPress admin plugin list or the plugin's main file header; compare against `9.3.04.004`.
- Confirm whether the site has the WP Photo Album Plus plugin installed and active at all.

## Fix

- WP Photo Album Plus: move to `9.3.04.004` or later.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-29T06:53:13+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-110983

## From the sources

The WP Photo Album Plus WordPress plugin before 9.3.04.004 does not verify the origin or a security token for one of its comment-management requests, allowing attackers to delete photo comments by tricking a logged-in user who holds comment-moderation rights into loading a crafted page.
