# Devolutions Server: view-only users can read add-on passwords

Devolutions Server returns add-on properties unredacted in connection data, so a user with only View permission can read add-on passwords. The attacker needs a valid authenticated account with View rights.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:devolutions server affected < 2026.2.20.0 fixed 2026.2.20.0
- vendor:devolutions server affected >= 2026.3.5.0, < 2026.3.10.0 fixed 2026.3.10.0

## How to check

- Confirm the installed Devolutions Server version in the admin console and compare it to `2026.2.20.0` and `2026.3.10.0`
- Review which accounts hold only View permission and whether any add-ons store passwords

## Fix

- Upgrade Devolutions Server to `2026.2.20.0` on the 2026.2 line, or to `2026.3.10.0` on the 2026.3 line
- Rotate add-on passwords that may have been exposed to View-only users

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T21:57:13+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-110806

## From the sources

Incorrect authorization in add-on properties in Devolutions Server 2026.3.8.0 and earlier allows an authenticated user with only View permission to obtain add-on passwords via the unredacted add-on properties returned in connection data.
