# Swift Performance Lite WordPress plugin: SQL injection by author-role users

The Swift Performance Lite WordPress plugin before 2.3.7.4 does not sanitize a value before using it in a SQL statement. An authenticated user with the author role or higher can inject SQL to read or change database contents.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed version of the Swift Performance Lite plugin in the WordPress admin plugins list or with `wp plugin get swift-performance-lite --field=version`
- Review which accounts have the author role or higher

## Fix

- Update Swift Performance Lite to `2.3.7.4` or later

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T21:57:28+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-110651
- 2026-10-24T13:15:55+00:00 epss https://api.first.org/data/v1/epss?cve=CVE-2026-110651

## From the sources

The Swift Performance Lite WordPress plugin before 2.3.7.4 does not properly sanitize and escape a value before using it in a SQL statement, which could allow users with the author role and above to perform SQL injection attacks.
