# Salon Booking System WordPress plugin exposes hidden discount coupons to subscribers

The Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.31.11 has a REST API endpoint without a staff-only check. Any logged-in user, including a basic subscriber, can read every discount coupon, including hidden ones, with amounts, validity dates and usage limits.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed plugin version in the WordPress admin Plugins page or with `wp plugin get salon-booking-system --field=version`
- Confirm whether the site allows customer or subscriber accounts that anyone can register

## Fix

- Update the Salon Booking System plugin to `10.31.11` or later
- Review coupon values for anything sensitive that should not be visible to customers

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T21:57:14+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-110035

## From the sources

The Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.31.11 does not restrict one of its REST API endpoints to salon staff, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to retrieve every discount coupon configured on the site, including coupons the administrator has chosen to hide from customers, together with their amounts, validity dates and usage limits.
