# Salon Booking System WordPress plugin: negative booking totals via discount code

The Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.31.11 does not stop a fixed-amount discount from pushing a booking's total below zero. An unauthenticated visitor who knows a valid discount code can create a confirmed booking stored with a negative total.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed plugin version in the WordPress admin plugin list or in the plugin header of `wp-content/plugins/salon-booking-system/`; versions below `10.31.11` are affected.
- Review bookings for negative totals if fixed-amount discount codes are in use.

## Fix

- Update the Salon Booking System plugin to `10.31.11` or later.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T21:57:17+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-110034

## From the sources

The Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.31.11 does not enforce a minimum of zero when subtracting a fixed-amount discount from a booking's total, allowing an unauthenticated visitor who knows a valid discount code to create a confirmed booking stored with a negative total.
