# WordPress All in One SEO plugin leaks hidden post fields to anonymous visitors

The All in One SEO WordPress plugin, up to and including version 5.0.3, echoes the search parameter 's' into the page title and structured data, including non-public post meta values. An unauthenticated attacker can use this to read custom fields such as API keys and internal notes.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed version of All in One SEO in the WordPress admin plugin list, or `wp plugin get all-in-one-seo-pack --field=version` if WP-CLI is available.
- Confirm whether the installed version is `5.0.3` or lower.

## From the sources

The All in One SEO – AI SEO Plugin to Boost SEO Rankings & Traffic (Schema, Local SEO, Sitemap & SEO Insights) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.3 via the 's' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract arbitrary non-public post meta values, including sensitive custom fields such as API keys and internal notes, emitted verbatim into the HTML title element and JSON-LD SearchResultsPage schema.
