# Langflow: authenticated users can run arbitrary code through missing authorization

IBM Langflow OSS versions 1.0.0 through 1.12.4 lack an authorization check in one path. A logged-in attacker can use it to execute arbitrary code on the server.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed Langflow version, for example with `pip show langflow`, and compare it to the affected range `1.0.0` through `1.12.4`.

## Fix

- Move to a Langflow OSS release newer than `1.12.4`; the exact fixed version is unknown from the sources.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-29T16:25:55+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-107327

## From the sources

IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.12.4 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code due to missing authorization.
