# Drupal Country module: cross-site scripting flaw in web page output

The Drupal Country module does not neutralize some input when it generates web pages, which allows cross-site scripting. An attacker can get script to run in a visitor's browser on affected sites.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed Country module version in the Drupal project (for example with `drush pm:list` or the module's info file).
- Look for versions from `0.0.0` to `2.1.3` or `2.2.0` to `2.2.1` in the lockfile or `composer.lock`.

## Fix

- Country module: move to a version above `2.2.1` (the sources do not name the exact fixed release).

## Timeline

- 2026-10-30T04:28:36+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-107308

## From the sources

Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ("Cross-site Scripting") vulnerability in Drupal Country allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). This issue affects Country versions: from 0.0.0 to 2.1.3, from 2.2.0 to 2.2.1.
