# Royal Addons for Elementor: unauthenticated users can read non-public post content

The Royal Addons for Elementor WordPress plugin before 1.7.1070 returns post content through an unauthenticated AJAX action without checking that the post type is publicly visible. An anonymous visitor can read content from non-public post types, such as captured contact-form submissions containing names, email addresses and messages.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed plugin version in the WordPress admin under Plugins, or with `wp plugin get royal-elementor-addons --field=version` (plugin slug assumed; unknown if the sources give it).
- Confirm whether a contact-form plugin stores submissions as non-public custom post types.

## Fix

- Update Royal Addons for Elementor to `1.7.1070` or later.
- unknown whether a workaround exists before updating.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-28T06:31:26+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-107100

## From the sources

The Royal Addons for Elementor WordPress plugin before 1.7.1070 does not verify that a requested post is publicly viewable before returning its content via an unauthenticated AJAX action, relying only on the published status and not on the post type's visibility, allowing unauthenticated users to disclose the content of posts stored in non-public post types, for example captured contact-form submissions containing names, email addresses and messages.
