# RetroArch: another user can force attacker code to load and run

RetroArch v1.22.2 has a flaw that lets an attacker make another user's session load attacker-supplied code under that user's ID. The result is arbitrary code execution as that user.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed RetroArch version (the sources name v1.22.2 as affected; the sources do not give a command for this)

## Timeline

- 2026-10-29T17:26:16+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-107050

## From the sources

An issue in libretro RetroArch v1.22.2 allows attackers to force another user into loading attacker-supplied code in their uid, leading to arbitrary code execution.
