# BDM Digital Payment Gateway WordPress plugin: anyone can mark orders paid

The BDM Digital Payment Gateway WordPress plugin through 1.3.12 does not check credentials on its public payment-status update route, and treats unset credentials as valid. An unauthenticated attacker can mark arbitrary WooCommerce orders as paid without paying.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check whether the BDM Digital Payment Gateway plugin is installed and its version is `1.3.12` or lower, in the WordPress admin plugins list or the plugin's main file header.
- Check whether the WooCommerce store uses this plugin as a payment gateway in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments.

## Fix

- Update the BDM Digital Payment Gateway plugin to a version later than `1.3.12` if one is available; the sources do not name a fixed version.
- If no fixed version exists, deactivate the plugin or disable its payment gateway until a fix ships.
- Set real credentials for the plugin's payment-status route rather than leaving them unset.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T21:57:17+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-106010

## From the sources

The BDM Digital Payment Gateway WordPress plugin through 1.3.12 does not verify the credentials on its public payment-status update route and treats unset credentials as valid, allowing unauthenticated attackers to mark arbitrary WooCommerce orders as paid without payment in the default configuration.
