# WordPress Form Maker plugin: unescaped submissions let visitors run scripts in admin

The Form Maker by 10Web WordPress plugin does not escape user-submitted field values before showing them on its submissions admin page. An unauthenticated visitor can store a script that runs in the browser session of an administrator who views the submissions.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed version of the Form Maker by 10Web plugin in the WordPress admin plugins list or `wp plugin get form-maker --field=version`
- Confirm whether the site accepts public form submissions that administrators later review in the submissions page

## Fix

- Form Maker by 10Web: move to version `1.15.51` or later (the sources say 'before 1.15.51' is affected)

## Timeline

- 2026-11-04T06:25:17+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-105413

## From the sources

The Form Maker by 10Web WordPress plugin before 1.15.51 does not consistently escape user-submitted field values before rendering them on its submissions admin page, allowing unauthenticated users to store a payload that executes as arbitrary web scripts in the session of an administrator who views the submissions.
