# WooCommerce Extra Product Options Pro: reflected XSS via product page parameters

The WooCommerce Extra Product Options Pro WordPress plugin does not sanitize a field-name parameter on product pages, so injected scripts are reflected back to the page. An attacker can get a shopper's browser to run their script by tricking them into clicking a crafted link.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed Extra Product Options Pro plugin version; the sources say versions up to and including `3.3.2` are affected. Also check whether any product page has a Date & Time Range Picker extra field configured.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-31T10:34:55+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-104926

## From the sources

The WooCommerce Extra Product Options Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the '<fieldname>_start / <fieldname>_end' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. This vulnerability is only exploitable on product pages where a Date & Time Range Picker extra field is configured, though the required field name is visible in the product page source and requires no prior knowledge to discover.
