# Langflow: authenticated users can make the server send requests internally

IBM Langflow OSS versions 1.0.0 through 1.12.3 have a server-side request forgery flaw. A logged-in attacker can make the server send requests to other systems, which can expose internal network details or help with further attacks.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed Langflow version with `langflow --version` or the package manager, and compare it with the affected range 1.0.0 through 1.12.3.

## Fix

- Move to a Langflow version later than `1.12.3`; the exact fixed version is unknown from the sources.

## Timeline

## From the sources

IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.12.3 is vulnerable to server-side request forgery (SSRF). This may allow an authenticated attacker to send unauthorized requests from the system, potentially leading to network enumeration or facilitating other attacks.
