# iCagenda Joomla extension: CSV export lets registration fields run formulas

The registrations CSV export in iCagenda, a Joomla event extension, does not neutralize spreadsheet formulas in user-supplied fields. When an administrator opens the exported file in a spreadsheet program, injected formulas can run and may leak data or trigger actions on the admin's machine.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed iCagenda version in the Joomla extensions manager; versions 3.5.0 through 4.0.16 are affected.
- Look for the iCagenda component under Components in the Joomla administrator.

## Fix

- Update iCagenda to a release later than `4.0.16`, per the vendor's release notes (fixed version unknown from sources).
- Until updated, avoid opening registration CSV exports in spreadsheet software.
