# Autodesk Fusion: crafted library file's HTML description enables stored XSS

A malicious electronic library (.lbr) file containing crafted HTML in its description can trigger stored cross-site scripting when shown in Fusion's Library Manager after import. Per the description, an attacker can then read local files or run arbitrary code in the current process.

## From the sources

A maliciously crafted HTML payload in the description of an electronic library (.lbr) file, when displayed in the Library Manager after the library is imported, can trigger a Stored Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Autodesk Fusion desktop application. A malicious actor may leverage this vulnerability to read local files or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process.
