# Oracle E-Business Suite: Production Scheduling flaw lets local users alter data

Oracle E-Business Suite's Production Scheduling module, in the Internal Operations component, has a flaw that lets a low-privileged logged-in user read, change or delete some of the data it handles and partly disrupt the service. Exploitation is hard and requires the attacker to already have logon access to the infrastructure where Production Scheduling runs.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Confirm the installed Oracle E-Business Suite release for Production Scheduling is within 12.2.3 to 12.2.15 (`unknown` for the exact check command in the sources)
- Review the Oracle Critical Patch Update advisory for the patch level covering this CVE (unknown in sources)

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update that addresses CVE-2026-101843 for Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 (exact patch name unknown in sources)

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T21:57:23+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-101843

## From the sources

Vulnerability in the Production Scheduling product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Internal Operations). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Production Scheduling executes to compromise Production Scheduling. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Production Scheduling accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Production Scheduling accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Production Scheduling. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 4.5 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L).
