# Oracle E-Business Suite: Project Contracts flaw exposes data to low-privileged network users

Oracle Project Contracts, a module of Oracle E-Business Suite, has a flaw in its Internal Operations component that can be reached over HTTP. An attacker with a low-privileged account can read critical data accessible to the module and may affect other products through scope change.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Confirm whether Oracle E-Business Suite with the Project Contracts module is installed and running a version in the 12.2.3 to 12.2.15 range
- Check the installed patch level against Oracle's April 2026 Critical Patch Update advisory for E-Business Suite (unknown if the sources do not give the exact patch name)

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for Oracle E-Business Suite Project Contracts (exact patch number unknown from the sources)
- Restrict HTTP access to E-Business Suite to trusted networks until patched

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T21:57:23+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-101830

## From the sources

Vulnerability in the Oracle Project Contracts product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Internal Operations). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Project Contracts. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Project Contracts, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Project Contracts accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.7 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N).
