# Oracle E-Business Suite: MWA Terminal Server flaw exposes data over HTTP

The MWA Terminal Server component of Oracle Mobile Application Server, part of Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.3 through 12.2.15, has a hard-to-exploit flaw. An unauthenticated attacker with network access over HTTP can read and modify data the server can reach.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Confirm the E-Business Suite release in use is within `12.2.3` to `12.2.15`
- Check whether the MWA Terminal Server component is deployed and reachable over HTTP
- Review the vendor's advisory for the exact patch level and any mitigation

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for the Oracle Mobile Application Server in E-Business Suite, or move to a release outside `12.2.3` to `12.2.15`
- Restrict network access to the MWA Terminal Server endpoints until patched

## Timeline
