# Oracle E-Business Suite HCM Common Architecture: low-privilege attackers can access critical data

Oracle E-Business Suite's HCM Common Architecture component, in the Internal Operations area, has a flaw that lets a low-privileged user reach it over HTTP. Successful exploitation can create, modify or delete critical data, read it, or partly disrupt the service.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Confirm whether Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 is deployed, with the HCM Common Architecture component installed
- Check the patch level against Oracle's Critical Patch Update advisory for the matching release: unknown from the sources

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for Oracle E-Business Suite HCM Common Architecture: the fixed version is unknown from the sources
- Move off the affected range 12.2.3-12.2.15 to a patched release: unknown from the sources

## Timeline
