# Oracle E-Business Suite: Product Hub Item Catalog flaw exposes data over HTTP

Oracle E-Business Suite's Product Hub Item Catalog component has a flaw that lets a low-privileged user reach it over the network and compromise Product Hub data. A successful attack can expose or change Product Hub data and partially disrupt the service, and the scope change means other products may be affected too.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed E-Business Suite release for the Product Hub component, looking for `12.2.3` through `12.2.15`
- Confirm with the Oracle Critical Patch Update advisory for the patch level applied to your environment

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for Oracle Product Hub in E-Business Suite 12.2 (the sources do not name the patched version)

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T21:57:23+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-101818

Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Product Hub accessible data as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Product Hub accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle Product Hub. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.7 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:L).
