# Oracle Billing and Revenue Management: unauthenticated HTTP flaw exposes some billing data

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM Server) has a flaw that an unauthenticated attacker with network access over HTTP can exploit with some difficulty. A successful attack can read and modify a subset of the billing data the product stores.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check whether the BRM Server version is `15.0.0.0.0`, `15.0.1.0.0`, `15.1.0.0.0` or `15.2.0.0.0`
- Confirm whether the BRM Server HTTP interface is reachable from untrusted networks
- unknown for any other check the sources do not describe

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update for Communications products that covers BRM Server 15.x; the exact patch identifier is unknown from the sources
- unknown for a specific fixed version
