# Oracle E-Business Suite: Applications Manager flaw exposes data to low-privilege users

Oracle Applications Manager, part of Oracle E-Business Suite, has a flaw in its Diagnostics Interfaces component that can be reached over HTTP. A low-privileged attacker with network access can read critical data that Applications Manager can reach.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed E-Business Suite release: affected versions are listed as `12.2.3` through `12.2.15`
- Confirm whether Oracle Applications Manager is deployed and reachable over HTTP from untrusted networks
- unknown for any further detail the sources do not give

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update that addresses CVE-2026-101782 for Oracle E-Business Suite `12.2.3` to `12.2.15`
- Restrict network access to Oracle Applications Manager and its diagnostics endpoints until patched

## Timeline
