# Oracle Billing and Revenue Management: unauthenticated HTTP flaw exposes all billing data

Oracle Communications BRM Server 15.0.0.0.0 to 15.2.0.0.0 has a CVSS 9.1 flaw (CVE-2026-101765). An unauthenticated attacker with network access over HTTP can read all BRM-accessible data and create, change or delete critical data. Oracle fixed it in the October 2026 Critical Patch Update. No exploitation or public PoC is known.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management affected 15.0.0.0.0, 15.0.1.0.0, 15.1.0.0.0, 15.2.0.0.0 fixed ?

## How to check

Check your BRM Server release. 15.0.0.0.0, 15.0.1.0.0, 15.1.0.0.0 and 15.2.0.0.0 are affected. Then check whether the BRM Server HTTP port can be reached from untrusted networks. Other BRM components (Elastic Charging Engine) are listed in the CPU as separate entries.

## Fix

Apply the Oracle October 2026 CPU patch for Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management from My Oracle Support, using the patch availability document linked from the CPU page. The patch ID and fixed release are not public; I could not confirm them. Until then, limit access to the BRM Server HTTP port to trusted internal networks with firewall rules or ACLs.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T23:07:17+00:00 analyst — Oracle Oct 2026 CPU (cpuoct2026) lists BRM 15.0.0.0.0, 15.0.1.0.0, 15.1.0.0.0, 15.2.0.0.0 as affected. CVE.org gives CVSS 9.1, AV:N/PR:N, HTTP. The patch is only in the MOS patch availability doc, so no fixed version number is public and I have not read it. No exploitation or PoC found; I did not search social posts. Sibling BRM CVEs: CVE-2026-101758 (8.2), CVE-2026-101606, CVE-2026-83406.
