# Oracle E-Business Suite: Application Object Library flaw exposes data over HTTP

Oracle E-Business Suite's Application Object Library (Core component) versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 have a flaw reachable over HTTP without logging in. A remote attacker who tricks a user into an action can read and modify data the Application Object Library can access.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Confirm the E-Business Suite release in use is within `12.2.3` to `12.2.15`
- Compare the installed Application Object Library patch level against the Oracle Security Alert advisory (unknown from sources)

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle patch for Application Object Library in E-Business Suite listed in the Oracle advisory (specific patch unknown from sources)
- Move to a supported release that is not in `12.2.3` to `12.2.15`

## Timeline
