# Oracle E-Business Suite: Trade Management Claim LOV flaw exposes data to low-privileged users

Oracle E-Business Suite's Trade Management module has a flaw in its Claim LOV component that lets a low-privileged user reach data over HTTP. A successful attack can read and change some Trade Management data, and a victim must take an action for it to succeed.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed Oracle E-Business Suite release level for Trade Management, which the sources list as `12.2.3` through `12.2.15`
- Confirm with the Oracle advisory or Oracle Support patch list whether your release is covered (unknown from the sources)

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for Oracle E-Business Suite Trade Management (patch number unknown from the sources)
- Move Trade Management to a release outside `12.2.3` through `12.2.15` (target version unknown from the sources)

## Timeline

Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Trade Management accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Trade Management accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.4 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N).
