# Oracle E-Business Suite: Mobile Field Service Admin UI leaks data unauthenticated

Oracle Mobile Field Service, part of Oracle E-Business Suite, has a flaw in its Admin UI that lets an unauthenticated attacker reach it over HTTP. A successful attack gives read access to critical data held by the service.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Confirm whether Oracle Mobile Field Service is deployed as part of Oracle E-Business Suite and note the release level, for example `12.2.x`.
- Check whether the Admin UI is reachable from the internet or untrusted networks.
- Review the Oracle Critical Patch Update advisory for the patch level applied to the Mobile Field Service component.

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for Oracle Mobile Field Service in Oracle E-Business Suite `12.2.3` through `12.2.15`.
- Restrict network access to the Admin UI until the patch is applied.
