# Oracle E-Business Suite: Advanced Outbound Telephony flaw exposes and alters some data

Oracle Advanced Outbound Telephony, a module of Oracle E-Business Suite, has a flaw in its Internal Operations component that affects supported versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15. A low-privileged attacker on the network can read and modify some of the module's data, but a person other than the attacker must take an action for the attack to succeed.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed Oracle Advanced Outbound Telephony patch level in the E-Business Suite environment against the versions named in the advisory (12.2.3 to 12.2.15)
- unknown for any further check; the sources do not say which patch or file to inspect

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for Oracle Advanced Outbound Telephony in Oracle E-Business Suite (the sources do not name the patch number or target version)

## Timeline

Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Advanced Outbound Telephony accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Advanced Outbound Telephony accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.4 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N).
