# Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools: Integration Broker flaw exposes critical data

A flaw in the Integration Broker component of Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.61 through 8.63 lets an unauthenticated attacker send HTTP requests that compromise the application. Successful attacks need a person other than the attacker to interact, and can read critical data and modify or delete some data.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools affected >= 8.61, <= 8.63 fixed unknown (October 2026 CPU patch)

## How to check

Check your PeopleTools version (PeopleTools > About PeopleTools, or PSSTATUS table: SELECT TOOLSREL FROM PSSTATUS). Versions 8.61 to 8.63 are affected; confirm whether the October 2026 CPU patch is applied. Check whether Integration Broker endpoints are reachable over HTTP from untrusted networks.

## Fix

Apply the PeopleTools patch from Oracle's October 2026 Critical Patch Update (exact patch level is in the PeopleSoft entry of the My Oracle Support patch availability document; not publicly readable). Oracle notes PeopleTools 8.61.24 product patch GA on 2026-10-20, but does not tie it to this CVE in the pages I read.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T21:57:21+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-101450
- 2026-10-25T03:36:00+00:00 analyst — Oracle October 2026 CPU (20 Oct) lists PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.61-8.63 Integration Broker, CVSS 7.1, no known exploitation or PoC. The exact fixed patch level is in the My Oracle Support patch availability document (login required), which I could not read, so fix is left as 'apply the Oct 2026 CPU PeopleTools patch'. No workaround published. SentinelOne calls it an 'auth bypass'; Oracle's text says unauthenticated with user interaction (UI:R), so I did not repeat that. Nothing verified.
