# Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools: unauthenticated HTTP request can crash Business Interlink

## How to check

- Check the installed PeopleTools version against the affected range `8.61` to `8.63`
- Confirm whether Business Interlink is deployed and reachable over HTTP from untrusted networks
- Review the Oracle Critical Patch Update advisory for the exact patch list (unknown from these sources)

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools 8.61 to 8.63 (exact patch id unknown from these sources)
- Restrict HTTP access to Business Interlink endpoints to trusted networks until patched
