# Dell OpenManage Enterprise: OS command injection lets an admin run commands

Dell OpenManage Enterprise versions before 4.8.0 contain an OS command injection flaw that lets a high-privileged remote attacker execute commands. The sources describe the impact as command execution on the management server.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed OpenManage Enterprise version in the web console or on the appliance; versions below `4.8.0` are listed as affected.

## Fix

- Dell OpenManage Enterprise: upgrade to `4.8.0` or later

## Timeline

- 2026-10-30T12:30:22+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-101210

## From the sources

Dell OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Command execution.
