# tj-actions changed-files before 46 allows remote attackers to discover secrets by reading actions logs

The tj-actions/changed-files GitHub Action contained embedded malicious code that printed secrets into GitHub Actions workflow logs. An attacker who can read those logs can collect AWS keys, GitHub personal access tokens, npm tokens and private RSA keys.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:tj-actions changed-files GitHub Action affected ? fixed ?
- vendor:tj-actions changed-files affected <= 45.0.7 fixed ?

## How to check

Search workflow run logs for uses: tj-actions/changed-files in your workflow files and check which version is pinned.

## Fix

Pin the action to a version that is not affected, or remove it; rotate any AWS keys, GitHub PATs, npm tokens and SSH/RSA keys that ran through workflows using it.
