# An issue was discovered on D-Link DCS-2530L before 1.06.01 Hotfix and DCS-2670L through 2.02 devices

D-Link DCS-2530L and DCS-2670L cameras have a command injection flaw in the cgi-bin/ddns_enc.cgi endpoint. An attacker can run operating system commands on the device, and CISA lists it as actively exploited.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

- vendor:dlink dcs-2530l firmware affected <= 1.05.05 fixed ?
- vendor:dlink dcs-2670l firmware affected < 2.03.00 fixed 2.03.00

## How to check

Identify whether any D-Link DCS-2530L or DCS-2670L camera is on the network, including by its web interface.

## Fix

Discontinue use of the product, since the sources say these devices are end-of-life and end-of-service.
If mitigations are needed before replacement, follow the vendor instructions referenced by CISA; the sources do not name them.

## From the sources

D-Link DCS-2530L and DCS-2670L devices contains a command injection vulnerability in the cgi-bin/ddns_enc.cgi. The impacted products could be end-of-life (EoL) and/or end-of-service (EoS). Users should discontinue product utilization.

CISA required action: Apply mitigations per vendor instructions, follow applicable BOD 22-01 guidance for cloud services, or discontinue use of the product if mitigations are unavailable.
