# A memory corruption issue was addressed with improved memory handling

Apple iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS contain a memory corruption flaw in a component the sources do not name. An attacker who triggers it can run code on the affected device.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:Apple Multiple Products affected ? fixed ?
- vendor:apple iphone os affected < 12.0 fixed 12.0
- vendor:apple mac os x affected < 10.14 fixed 10.14
- vendor:apple tvos affected < 12.0 fixed 12.0
- vendor:apple watchos affected < 5.0 fixed 5.0

## How to check

Check the installed OS version on each Apple device (Settings > General > About on iOS, Apple menu > About This Mac on macOS) and compare it to the patched releases in Apple's security notes.

## Fix

Update iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS to the current release from Apple, as CISA's required action directs.
