# Microsoft Windows: Microsoft Windows Object Linking & Embedding (OLE) Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

Windows Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) can run attacker code when a user opens a file containing a specially crafted OLE object. This is the flaw known as Sandworm, exploited in the wild per CISA KEV.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:Microsoft Windows affected ? fixed ?

## Fix

Apply Microsoft's updates for CVE-2014-4114 per vendor instructions (CISA KEV required action). Exact patch KB numbers are unknown from the sources.
