# dlink dir-600 firmware: Multiple cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities in D-Link DIR-600 router (rev

D-Link DIR-600 home routers accept configuration changes from forged cross-site requests sent by a web page the administrator visits. An attacker can change router settings by hijacking an existing administrator session.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:D-Link DIR-600 Router affected ? fixed ?
- vendor:dlink dir-600 firmware affected <= 2.16ww fixed ?

## How to check

Identify any D-Link DIR-600 hardware on the network (model label on the device, admin web interface).

## Fix

Retire and replace the device; CISA states all DIR-600 hardware revisions are end-of-life and should be replaced per vendor instructions.

## From the sources

Multiple cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities in D-Link DIR-600 router (rev. Bx) with firmware before 2.17b02 allow remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that (1) create an administrator account or (2) enable remote management via a crafted configuration module to hedwig.cgi, (3) activate new configuration settings via a SETCFG,SAVE,ACTIVATE action to pigwidgeon.cgi, or (4) send a ping via a ping action to diagnostic.php.
